Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing or using ScrollShots (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. ScrollShots is operated by SM SEAMLESS DIGITAL LTD, Cyprus ("we", "us", "our"). Your use of the Apple App Store or Google Play is also subject to their terms (see Section 17).

2. Description of Service

ScrollShots is a mobile app for creating social carousels, Stories, invitations and flyers. Depending on the features available to you, it can generate and rephrase text with AI, suggest designs, generate AI background images, use your own images, logos and video clips as backgrounds, turn a still background into a short AI video ("Bring to Life"), export PNG, PDF and MP4 files, turn a carousel into a vertical video ("Reel"), and organise creations in a synced library and collections.

Features, AI models and providers, templates, limits and formats may change over time (see Section 15).

3. Accounts

Some features require an account, for example syncing, video backgrounds and Bring to Life. You may sign in with Apple, Google or email and password. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity in your account, and you must not use another person's account without permission.

4. Your Content

You may provide text, prompts, links, images, logos, video clips and other material ("User Content"). You must have the rights and permissions needed to use it, including the consent of any person who can be identified in images or videos you upload, animate or publish.

• Your rights: As between you and us, you keep ownership of your User Content. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, process and display it, and to send it to our service providers, only as needed to provide and secure the features you use.
• Links: When you submit a URL, we retrieve publicly available content from that page to create your slides. You are responsible for your use of the source material. We may decline links that cannot be read, appear unsafe or would breach these Terms.
• Images, logos and video: Do not upload material you are not allowed to use, including other people's trademarks, artwork or footage.

5. AI-Generated Content

• How it works: ScrollShots uses third-party AI services to generate or transform text, images, video and sound based on your input. Your input is sent to those services to produce the result (see our Privacy Policy).
• Results vary: AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unrealistic or different from what you described. For Bring to Life, the AI interprets your image and instructions; we do not guarantee any particular motion, timing, likeness or sound.
• Review before publishing: You are responsible for reviewing, editing and deciding whether to publish or rely on any output.
• Originality: We do not guarantee that output is unique, original or free of third-party rights, or suitable for any particular platform, audience or purpose.
• Ownership and use of output: As between you and us, we do not claim ownership of output you create with ScrollShots. Whether AI output can be protected, and what uses are allowed, may depend on the law where you live and on the terms of the AI services involved; we do not grant rights beyond those we have.

AI output is not professional legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

6. Content Rules and Reporting

You must not use ScrollShots to create, upload, process or share content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic or obscene, or sexualises a real person.
• Exploits, harms, sexualises or endangers minors in any way.
• Promotes or facilitates violence, terrorism, self-harm or harm to others.
• Contains unlawful hate speech or discrimination.
• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening or invades someone's privacy.
• Depicts or imitates a real person in a misleading way, or animates a person's image without the permission you need.
• Infringes intellectual property or other rights.
• Promotes illegal activity, fraud, scams, phishing or deceptive conduct.
• Contains malware or other harmful code.

We use automated checks and our providers' safety systems, but they do not catch everything. We may refuse to process content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe these Terms were broken, and preserve or disclose information where the law requires.

You can report AI-generated images and videos from inside the App, and other content by contacting [email protected]. Reports are private and reviewed by our team.

7. Free and Pro

• Free: A limited free plan, for example a number of free AI creations, one free AI background and one free Reel. Free exports include a small ScrollShots watermark. Current limits are shown in the App.
• ScrollShots Pro: A paid subscription (monthly or annual) with higher limits and extra features described in the App, such as more daily AI creations, AI backgrounds and Reels without the free limits, PDF export, brand logo, premium palettes, exports without a watermark, more video storage and included Motion credits (Section 8).
• Fair use: All plans are subject to daily, per-feature, rate and fair-use limits that protect the service and its costs. We may adjust limits.
• Billing and renewal: Subscriptions are bought and billed by Apple or Google. Prices, taxes and offers vary by region and are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account before renewal; after cancelling, Pro continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, except where the law gives you other rights.

8. Motion Credits (Bring to Life)

• What they are: Motion credits are an in-app balance used only for Bring to Life. A 5-second video uses 1 credit and an 8-second video uses 2 credits, with or without generated sound. The cost is shown before you start. Re-using a finished video, exporting and making Reels do not use credits.
• Included with Pro: ScrollShots Pro includes 5 Motion credits each month while your subscription is active, on monthly and annual plans, as shown in the App. Included credits may expire at the end of the period in which they were granted and do not carry over, as shown in the App. Free plans include no credits.
• Credit packs: Anyone can buy an optional pack of 5 credits in the App. Purchased credits do not expire. When you have both, credits that expire are used before purchased credits.
• When credits are used: Credits are deducted when a generation starts. If a generation fails for a technical reason after credits were deducted, we return those credits once the failure is confirmed. Some returns happen automatically; others, including some returns of included Pro credits, are made after a review. The App shows the status. Returned credits may be added back as credits that do not expire. We do not return credits for a generation that completed, including when you are not happy with the result. We may refuse a request that breaks Section 6 before any credits are used.
• Nature of credits: Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and can only be used in ScrollShots with the account that holds them. If Apple or Google refunds a credit pack, the corresponding credits may be removed.
• Changes and discontinuation: Credit costs for future generations may change and will be shown in the App before you generate. If we stop offering Bring to Life, we will give reasonable notice and handle remaining purchased credits in line with applicable law.
• Account deletion: Credits are tied to the account that holds them. Deleting your account permanently removes access to Motion credits associated with that account, including purchased credits. This does not affect any refund rights or other protections available to you under applicable law.

9. Library, Storage and Availability

Signed-in creations, images and videos are stored in your account so you can sync and reopen them. Storage for video backgrounds is limited by plan. The library is a convenience feature, not a backup service: keep your own copies of important exports. We do not guarantee that stored content will always be available, especially after account deletion, technical failures or service changes.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, bypass, tamper with or modify the App, except where the law allows.
• Interfere with the App, its servers, networks or security.
• Circumvent usage limits, credit checks, subscription checks, content filters or other safeguards.
• Create multiple accounts mainly to avoid limits or payments.
• Use bots, scripts or scraping tools to access the App without our permission.
• Resell or commercially provide access to the App itself without permission.

11. Our Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, branding, interface, templates and documentation, belongs to or is licensed to SM SEAMLESS DIGITAL LTD. Apart from the right to use the App under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

12. Third-Party Services

ScrollShots relies on third parties for AI processing, hosting and storage, sign-in, notifications, payments and distribution (see our Privacy Policy). They may have outages, errors or changes outside our control, and we may replace or change providers.

13. Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account in the App (Settings → Delete Account) or request it through scrollshots.com/request-delete. Deletion is permanent: your synced creations, collections and uploaded and generated images and videos are removed and cannot be restored, and access to Motion credits associated with the account, including purchased credits, is permanently removed. This does not affect any refund rights or other protections available to you under applicable law. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in your store account. Some records are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or close your account, or limit features, if you materially break these Terms, abuse the service, commit fraud, or create security or legal risk. Where reasonable we will tell you and explain why.

15. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, limit or discontinue features, AI models, providers, templates, formats, limits, subscriptions or credit costs. Where required by law, we will give notice of material changes that adversely affect paid services.

16. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScrollShots is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, unique or suitable for your use, that links can always be read, or that stored content will always be recoverable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SM SEAMLESS DIGITAL LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of ScrollShots, including from content you create, publish or rely on. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify SM SEAMLESS DIGITAL LTD against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the App, your User Content, or your material breach of these Terms.

17. App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded ScrollShots from the Apple App Store, your licence to use the App is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA), and these Terms apply in addition to it. If anything in these Terms conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails for that conflict. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, maintenance or support, or for claims relating to it. If you downloaded the App from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your purchases.

18. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus and applicable European Union law, without depriving you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence. Subject to those mandatory rules, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Cyprus.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to ScrollShots, the law or our providers. The date above shows the latest version. For material changes we will give appropriate notice. Continuing to use the App after the changes take effect means you accept them, except where the law requires a different form of consent.
